Workplaces collect evidence to show they are working in a Patient Friendly way and record it on their personal online portfolio system.

The system is entirely private between each workplace and the Patient Friendly team. Examples can be added and edited by authorised users.

Once a workplace has completed its portfolio to its satisfaction it can ask to be informally or formally assessed for recognition.

The demonstration only shows one example per criteria, from a Hospital, but there is no limit in a fully working portfolio and the system is the same for GP Practices.
